The Division of Digestive Diseases and Nutrition specializes in the diagnosis and
treatment of acute and chronic diseases affecting the digestive system.

The Division provides state-of-the-art diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic
services.  A GI laboratory is available for studies, such as esophageal motility, pH
monitoring and impedance.

The faculty members have major clinical and basic research interests in
inflammatory bowel disease, ulcer disease, therapeutic endoscopy, nutritional
evaluation and support, and liver disease.

Specialized clinics for inflammatory bowel disease, hepatitis C, heartburn, women’s
GI issues, and therapeutic endoscopy are available.
