Studies, toxicology and several research focus groups
Programs/Uses: Several multidisciplinary research focus groups,
centralized imaging facility, toxicology labs, and a containment facility
Location: The building faces University Drive, sits beside the Veterans
Affairs Hospital, and is connected to the UK College of Medicine.
Features: This building serves as the Medical Center's marquee research
facility. All labs are generic and are constructed with the same 22'x32' lab/office
module. A large atrium serves as a central point for the building, allowing natural light
into the inner laboratories.
