About Sports Medicine Fellowship

Mission Statement

The goal of the primary care sports medicine fellowship is to offer qualified residents a diverse educational experience in the field of sports medicine. Graduates of the accredited program will be equipped to function as educators and leaders in sports medicine.

Program Highlights:

• The program participates in the National Residency Matching Program. All applicants must apply through this program.
• Two full-time, one year fellowship positions, must be board certified or eligible in a primary care specialty.
• Exposure to all aspects of the treatment of sports injuries and illnesses while working with athletes at the scholastic, collegiate, and professional levels.
• Participants will have the opportunity to pursue research interests during the fellowship with guidance from the sports medicine faculty.
