that incorporates a variety of student-centered opportunities and
activities while requiring high academic standards from both students
and faculty.

medical students and communities through promoting scholarly
activities & community services.
Quality
Curriculum: Provide a curriculum that fosters learning and
helps students develop to their full potential. This curriculum will
be progressive and ever changing in order to meet the evolutionary
medical needs of the community.
Diverse
and Innovative Learning: Offer a predoctoral curriculum that
includes cutting-edge learning techniques. "Adult learning" will be
encouraged.
Promotion: Promote
family medicine within the Predoctoral Program to assist in meeting
the needs of Kentucky's communities.
Faculty Development:
Provide support for faculty research and scholarship through
publications, presentations, and grant writing. Encourage faculty to
develop their full potential while maintaining a balance between work
and personal needs. We strive for academic presence statewide and
nationally.
Program
Assessment/Evaluation: To consistently meet or exceed the
needs of the students, course and instructor evaluations will be
collected with the results reviewed and applied to enhance future
academic activities.
Diversity: Create an

Community Support:
Contribute exemplary leadership and assistance to efforts that enrich
