The residency program and clinic moved into a new state-of the art building in March 2004. The clinic recently became the state's newest federally funded health center and was renamed UK North Fork Valley Community Health Center, which hosts the UK Family Dental Clinic and Dental Residency Program.  The clinic has developed a reputation of excellence and serves individual patients and families from all segments of the community. New services are added as often as possible to enhance the health of the community and the education of the residents. A sample of the on-site services currently provided by U.K. North Fork Valley Community Health Center includes health maintenance, treatment of acute and chronic illnesses, family planning, obstetrical and gynecological care, minor surgical procedures, dietary consultation, patient education, primary care counseling and dental care facilities. The clinic’s new home includes 14 full-size exam rooms with 2 procedure rooms and a medical library.

This model clinic emphasizes quality of care in an environment that provides multi-disciplinary education to residents, medical students, nurse practitioner students and other health care professionals.
