The University of Kentucky Department of Ophthalmology & Visual Sciences currently offers three fellowship opportunities. The Vitreo-Retinal Surgery Fellowship has a two-year surgical program (which is now AUPO FCC compliant) and a one-year medical retina fellowship.

The Vitreo-Retinal Fellowship programs are administered jointly through the University of Kentucky and the private practice of Retina Associates of Kentucky. Two surgical positions are offered with a new fellow beginning each year. The first year fellow and the second year fellow rotate between the two sites. *We will not offer a surgical fellowship position for 2013.

One medical retina fellow is offered and the fellow rotates between the two sites.
