Ophthalmology Fellowships

The University of Kentucky Department of Ophthalmology & Visual Sciences currently offers three fellowship opportunities. The Vitreo-Retinal Surgery Fellowship has a two-year surgical program (which is now AUPO FCC compliant) and a one-year medical retina fellowship.

The Vitreo-Retinal Fellowship programs are administered jointly through the University of Kentucky and the private practice of Retina Associates of Kentucky. Two surgical positions are offered with a new fellow beginning each year. The first year fellow and the second year fellow rotate between the two sites.

One medical retina fellow is offered and the fellow rotates between the two sites.

To register for either fellowship program match, contact www.sfmatch.org. In addition to the requirements by the fellowship match program, we ask all applicants to complete a UK ophthalmology application form which is available on this website.
