Ophthalmology & Visual Science

Dr. Sharp graduated from Purdue University in 2005. He then attended the Indiana University School of Optometry, where he received the Doctor of Optometry degree. During his time at IU, he completed special rotations at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio, TX, Lexington VA, and Heartland Eye Consultants in Omaha, NE. He was a member of the American Optometric Student Association and the group Volunteer Optometric Services for Humanity (VOSH). As a member of VOSH he traveled to Guanajuato, Mexico to provide ocular care to rural areas. Dr. Sharp is currently a member of the American Optometric Association and the Kentucky Optometric Association.
