Chief Residents
The Chief Residents in the Department of Internal Medicine at the University of Kentucky are integral to the success of the residency program. The three Chief Residents assist the Residency Program Director in administering the Residency Program. Having three (or four for med-peds) years of training, our chiefs function as attending physicians on the inpatient wards or in the clinics. They are also in the perfect position to help shape the future of the program with significant educational responsibilities with medical students and residents. Our chief residents develop a tremendous set of skills which undoubtedly contributes to their great future success.
