The goals of the Orofacial Pain Center are to provide excellence in patient care, education, and research in the area of orofacial pain.
Philosophy of the Orofacial Pain Center
Members of the Orofacial Pain Center Faculty at the University of Kentucky are dedicated to the diagnosis and management of the full scope of orofacial pain problems within the context of contemporary clinical science. In addition, faculty members are committed to the undergraduate and graduate education of dental students, dentists, and other health care professionals interested in the area of orofacial pain. Of greatest importance, however, is the faculty's dedication to offer ethical, compassionate, comprehensive, and scientifically-based patient care and to recognize that it is a privilege to help our patients improve the quality of their lives.
