Orofacial Pain Research Program
Orofacial Pain initiative focuses on the development and refinement of diagnostic and intervention strategies.
1. Specifically, modern imaging technologies are being evaluated to provide a more robust predictive assessment of patients likely to suffer from this condition.
2. Unique strategies are being evaluated to provide effective therapy for this chronic condition. Each of these could be packaged into therapy centers, distributed state/nationwide these centers would extend the traditional healthcare management of these individuals beyond the medical/dental office and into the community.
