How can I participate in a study?

By scheduling an appointment at the DDKCRC for a free dental exam. At the free dental exam, we will let you know if you qualify to participate in a study.

How do I prepare for a visit?

Bring a list of current medications.

How to I get to the DDKCRC?

The DDKCRC is located on the 3rd floor of the University of Kentucky's College of Dentistry Building. When you exit the elevator on the 3rd floor, take a left around the corner and you will see the entrance to the Center.

There are two parking structures that are available for guests to park.

Do I have to pay for the services you provide?

No. You may receive stipend to cover the cost of participating in the study.

Do I have to have insurance to participate in a study?

No. All study treatments are provided at no cost to you.

How long does a study last?

Each study varies in its duration. The faculty and staff will describe the available studies to you.
