Administrative Core
The Administrative Cores serves to support and coordinate the activities of the COBRE program in Women's Health. This administrative section provides support for shared use cores such as a transgenic mouse core, DNA array facilities, microscopic imaging core, and a biostatistics consulting unit. In addition, the Administrative Core supports pilot projects in women's health at the University of Kentucky.
Personnel associated with the Administrative Core are:
Thomas Curry, Ph.D., in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology is the Director of the Core.
Kathy Rosewell in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology oversees the animal and transgenic mouse core.
Nan Rice in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology manages all of the administrative and budgetary aspects of the COBRE.
