Research Focus:
Dr. Cooper’s primary area of interest is geriatric neurology, with special interest in dementia and higher cortical function. He participates as both a primary investigator and sub-investigator in a number of clinical trials in Alzheimer’s disease and Mild Cognitive Impairment. Previously, he has participated in studies using functional and structural imaging modalities including PET, MRI and fMRI examining language and the brain in both intact and brain damaged individuals.
