TRIPLE BOARD RESIDENCY TRAINING PROGRAM
UK also offers a Triple Board Residency Training Program. We are one of about
nine programs in the country offering this unique five-year training resulting in eligibility for board certification in Pediatrics, Adult
Psychiatry and Child Psychiatry. Two residents are accepted into the program each year.
The Triple Board Residency Program exposes the resident to learning opportunities in the three specialties during each of the five years of integrated training. Continuity clinics, didactic sessions,
seminars and other electives round out the usual clinical rotations in the three specialties. This is an interesting and unique program which works well because of the outstanding relationship between the Departments of Pediatrics and Psychiatry at
UK.
