COMPASS-2 Booth/Wendy Pulmonary arterial hypertension patients treated with sildenafil + placebo vs sildenafil + bosentan
LAPTOP HF Gurley/Rebekah implanted left atrial pressure (LAP) monitor to assist Heart Failure patients in their medical therapy (have had heart failure for at least six months and have been hospitalized at least once in the last year for Heart Failure complications).
PREMIUM Gurley/Mandy Migraine patients (age 18-55yo) randomized to PFO closure vs. medical management
SOLID Campbell/Wendy Darapladib (Lp-PLA2 inhibitor) vs. placebo in acute coronary syndrome (must be enrolled within 30 days of event) to compare incidence of major cardiovascular adverse events.
VEST Elayi/Mandy Patients who present with acute MI and EF =<35% are randomized to LifeVest or standard of care in open label fashion.

PVD Registry Latif/Lilliana A registry for development and validation of risk adjustment models for clinical outcomes, and appropriateness of percutaneous interventions in vascular patients.

EARLY USE OF CRESTOR IN ACS Smyth/Research Nurse Early use of Crestor in ACS: targeting platelet-leukocyte interactions. Patients will receive 40mg Crestor within 8 hours of presentation followed by maintenance dose of 20mg Crestor daily.
LAPLACE TIMI-57 Bailey/Rebekah Tolerability and Efficacy of AMG 145 on LDL-C in Combination with HMG-CoA Reductase Inhibitors in Hypercholesterolemic Subjects:
  • LDL must be >85 mg/dl
  • Must be able to tolerate subcutaneous injections every 2-4 week for up to 5 months
