Fellows will alternate their weekly clinic between the Gill Heart Institute and VA Medical Center. With a wide area of referral base, both clinics entail a broad spectrum of cardiovascular disease processes. At Gill Heart Institute, the echocardiography laboratory, stress test laboratory with echo or nuclear imaging, cardiac imaging center and the cardiac catheterization laboratory are readily available for clinic patients. Outpatient visits during the past year numbered 9,000 in the Gill Heart Clinics, and 2,000 at the VA Cardiology Clinics.
