All applicants interested in general cardiovascular medicine fellowship training at the University of Kentucky will be considered for one of the 6 first-year positions available.

We participate in the National Residency Matching Program (NRMP), and accept applications through the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS).
  • The ERAS Common Application Form including:
    • Medical School Transcript
    • USMLE 1,2,3 Transcripts
    • 2 Letters of Recommendation, and
    • 1 Letter from the residency program director in internal medicine
    • ECFMG status report, if applicable.

For international medical graduates (IMG), it is important to note that completion of an ACGME-accredited Internal Medicine Residency Training Program and ABIM board-eligibility in Internal Medicine are required for ABIM board-eligibility and certification in Cardiovascular Disease.

Applicants may begin application as of July 1st, 2012 for training that starts July 2013.
