Bluegrass Care Clinic

Services at the Bluegrass Care Clinic are provided on a sliding fee scale. Your income will be assessed at the time of enrollment and annually thereafter to determine your level on the sliding fee scale and your responsibility for out-of-pocket expenditures. Regardless of income all persons who meet the eligibility requirements of the program automatically receive UK physician, laboratory, and radiology services at specially negotiated discounted rates.

The Ryan White program also offers a cap on out-of-pocket expenditures associated with outpatient medical care.  Based on your income this cap will be between 5-10% of your annual income. Out-of-pocket medical expenses include, but are not limited, to the following: all outpatient physician office visits; mental health and/or substance abuse counseling; dental care; ophthalmology care; dermatology care; prescriptions and over-the-counter medications; and medical insurance premiums and co-pays. Free parking in the Kentucky Clinic parking garage is available for all patients enrolled in the Ryan White Programs, regardless of income.
