BIRCWH Program Key Personnel

Principal Investigator

• Thomas E. Curry, Ph.D., professor and vice chair of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Dr. Curry provides leadership as director of the basic science program of BIRCWH.

Co-director

• Catherine A. Martin, M.D., Evalyn Anderson Edwards Endowed Professor and vice chair for research in the Department of Psychiatry. Dr. Martin is BIRCWH clinical program director.

Co-director

• Ann Coker, PhD., Professor and Verizon Wireless Endowed Chair in the Center for Research on Violence Against Women

Administrator

• Tammi Gausepohl, MHA serves as BIRCWH program administrator and provides daily guidance and oversight for the program.

Budget Director

• Nan Rice,  helps develops budget and is responsible for all accounting matters for the BIRCWH

Advisory Committee

An advisory committee is responsible for reviewing the activities of the Scholars and their mentors. Regular interaction with mentors provides direction and leadership for each participant. Each Scholar's progress also is monitored through meetings with the program manager.
