The University of Kentucky offers numerous facilities and instruments that are available for university research purposes. In addition to the facilities listed below, additional equipment is also available through university collaborations.
Advanced Genetic Technology Center (Genomic Research)
Macromolecular Structure Analysis Facility (MASF) - peptide sequencing, amino acid analysis, DNA sequencing, and oligonucleotide synthesis. The department has recently expanded its structural biology capabilities with the addition of NMR spectroscopy, CD spectroscopy, X-ray crystallographic and computational facilities.
