New Fluorometer

A new fluorometer, purchased with a
National Science Foundation Major Research Instrumentation award, has arrived and been installed. The
ISS K2 Multifrequency Cross-Correlation Phase and Modulation FluorometerISS K2 Multifrequency Cross-Correlation Phase and Modulation Fluorometer will allow measurement of fluorescence spectra as well as fluorescence lifetimes. These will prove useful in determining changes in flurophore environment, distance distributions from FRET experiments etc.
