The Barnstable Brown Kentucky Diabetes and Obesity Center weight management program is a twelve-week lifestyle modification program based on the Diabetes Prevention Program. We will teach you healthy habits you can use for the rest of your life and provide you with the right tools to achieve your goals and maintain your new, healthier lifestyle.

Although we specialize in patients with comorbidities related to obesity such as diabetes and HTN, our program is open to anyone. We can help manage blood glucose, blood pressure, cholesterol, and other metabolic complications. This is a food-based program that is led by a professional team including Physicians, Physician Assistants, Registered Dieticians, and Certified Diabetes Educators.

Enrollment is ongoing, so patients can enroll at the start of each 12-week session or at any time a spot is available. Please call for availability.

Our program includes medical monitoring and a private dietician consultation. Interested patients must attend their physician assistant and dietition visits prior to the start of the twelve week session. We will make every effort to schedule these on the same day if requested.
