Barnstable Brown Kentucky Diabetes and Obesity Center

Drs. Mark Swanson and Nancy Schoenberg recently received an award from the National Institute on Minority Health and Health Disparities (NIMHD) entitled "Appalachians Together Restoring the Eating Environment." The award runs from May, 2013 through April, 2016.

Dr. Debra Moser recently received an award in the amount of $2,092,473 for her project entitled, "Reducing Health Disparities in Appalachians with Multiple Cardiovascular Disease Risk Factors" The award runs from March 1, 2013 through February 28, 2016.

Dr. Debra Moser was recently awarded the Southern Nursing Research Society's Distinguished Research Award.
