Cale Jacobs, Stacy Downar, Jennifer Stiller, and Nina
Kuschinski received from the National Athletic Trainers Association Scholarship committee
$2000 scholarships

David Brajuha was the Educational Software Production
Contest Athletic Training Winner for the creation of a CD in collaboration with Tim Uhl
titled Core Stability Protocol

Nina Kushinsky (Class of 2004) worked with the Berlin
Thunder the last 3 seasons. Follow this Link

Dr. Tim Uhl was the recent recipient of the Founder's Award
presented by American Society of Shoulder and Elbow Therapists(ASSET). The Founder's
Award recognizes those who clearly demonstrate that spirit of adventurous vision and
persistent dedication in assisting the ASSET's venture to reach truly new and unique
destinations.
Heather
Mattocks (2002) and Dr. Tim Uhl were awarded a research grant from the Lexington
Clinic to study Scapular Dyskinesis.
Michelle
Boling (2004) was awarded a NATA Graduate Student Scholarship at the NATA Annual
Meeting and Symposium in Dallas Texas.
Ann Livengood was awarded the Sarah
Geurin Graduate Student Scholarship from the College of Education, University of
Kentucky.


Dr. Tim Uhl received a plaque and recognition of his work as Guest Editor
for the Special Issue:Evaluation and Management of Shoulder Injuries in the
Athlete, in the Journal of Athletic Training (July-September, Vol. 35, 3,2000). He
was recognized in June/2001 at the Journal of Athletic Training Editorial Board
Meeting, and in August/2001 at the Hughston Society Sports Medicine Meeting.
Dr. Tim Uhl recently attended (10/00) a reception in Ann Arbor and
received the "Alumni Achievement Award" from the Department of Kinesiology at
the University of Michigan. The award recognizes an alumnus who has demonstrated
outstanding professional achievements within 10 years from the time they graduated
(see below).
