What is Sinusitis?

Sinusitis is an inflammation of the sinus cavities

  • Acute Sinusitis -  symptoms less than six weeks, is usually secondary to infection
  • Chronic Sinusitis - is  defined as symptoms longer than 6 weeks, and is often caused by chronic untreated allergies

Symptoms include:

  • Nasal Congestion
  • Pressure/Pain in the face, occasionally referred to teeth or jaw
  • Ear Pressure and Popping
  • Headaches
  • Post-Nasal Drip
  • Throat Cough/Clearing
