Computational Facilities

Several SGI Unix computers are available, networked to local RAID data storage as well as a Microway Linux cluster.

The SGI's are equipped with special equipment for viewing molecular representations in 3-D for crystallographic analysis.

The Microway Linux cluster shown here has 16 nodes with dual Intel Xeon processors, Myrinet connectivity for parallel processing, and a 3.5 terabyte RAID.  It is used for numerous computational projects, including molecular dynamics simulations.

A Windows PC with an Intel Duo-Core processor is also available for simulations and fitting programs programmed only for Windows OS.
