John Watkins, PhD
John Watkins, PhD is an Associate Professor in the University of Kentucky’s Department of Geography and a faculty member of the Graduate Center for Gerontology. His scholarly interests include population aging, life course dynamics, migration, and theoretical and mathematical demography. His current research includes cohort and life course influences on mobility and residential decisions and population dynamics; preparation for and survival through retirement; and ethics and narrative methods in aging research.
