Baretta Casey Honored by the NRHA The National Rural Health Association (NRHA) has awarded Dr. Baretta Casey with its Louis Gorin Award for Outstanding Achievement in Rural Health Care.

Kentucky Homeplace Honored The National Rural Health Association (NRHA) has presented Kentucky Homeplace, University of Kentucky Center for Excellence in Rural Health, with its 2008 Outstanding Program Award.

Students Participate in Health Career Camp The camp, which is introducing 30 Eastern Kentucky high school students to a variety of health care careers, is hosted by the University of Kentucky Center for Excellence in Rural Health.

Residents Win Quiz Bowl The team of Dr. Key Douthitt and Dr. Minni Malhotra recently won the Kentucky Academy of Family Physicians’ third annual Resident Quiz Bowl.
