UK Family Medicine Residency Program Announces Arrival of Four New Physicians − The University of Kentucky’s East Kentucky Family Medicine Residency Program has announced the arrival of four new physicians.

Kentucky Homeplace to Participate in $1.43 Million Lung Cancer Study − The University of Kentucky’s Dr. Susanne Arnold and colleagues were awarded a grant by the Department of Defense to study potential environmental reasons for the high lung cancer rates in Eastern Kentucky.

Kentucky Homeplace Receives Gift from Anthem Foundation for Diabetes Self-Management Initiative in Eastern Kentucky − Kentucky Homeplace recently announced a $150,000 gift to expand its diabetes self-management education efforts in 26 Eastern Kentucky counties.

New Director of Center for Rural Health in Hazard Named − Frances J. Feltner, a longtime nurse and lay health worker administrator, has been selected as director of UK CERH-H.
