Clinical Leadership Management
The Clinical Leadership and Management program is intended for current providers who have an associate degree in a health-related discipline and at least one year of employment experience in a health care setting. Program graduates receive a Bachelor of Health Sciences degree from UK and will be prepared to assume greater responsibilities at their current jobs, be better qualified for job promotions, and positioned for graduate studies. Historically, there have been limited educational advancement options for associate degree trained health professionals in Kentucky. This degree completion program accommodates transfer students for many allied health disciplines, including radiological technology, respiratory therapy, dental hygiene and nursing. It is anticipated that graduates of the program, which includes a core curriculum of 39 credits, will benefit from advanced knowledge and skills that will enhance their career, work environment and quality of life. Program graduates may also benefit their employers, health care facility and patients. Additional information about the Clinical Leadership and Management program may be found at http://www.mc.uky.edu/clm/ or by calling UK’s Office of Student Affairs at (859) 323-1100, extension 80473.
