Perry Woman Wins Gift Basket from Local UK Clinic

Teresa Duff photographHAZARD, Ky. (Sept. 28, 2009) − Teresa Duff of Hazard recently won a Black Gold Festival contest drawing for a gift basket that contained University of Kentucky apparel and tickets to the October 24 UK vs. Louisiana- Monroe football game. Presenting the basket to Duff is Dr. Joe E. Kingery, a physician with the UK North Fork Valley Community Health Center.

The clinic, located at 750 Morton Blvd. in Hazard, offers primary care, sports medicine, women’s health, behavioral, dental and pharmacy services to residents of Perry and surrounding counties. As a federally funded health center, it is required to deliver care regardless of patients’ ability to pay, and charges for services are based on patients’ respective income levels.

To schedule an appointment, you may call (606) 439-1559. For additional information, visit www.mc.uky.edu/ruralhealth/nfvchc.asp.
