Centrally located in the Bluegrass Region of Kentucky, the “Horse Capital of the World” is best known for its luscious landscapes and thoroughbred horses.  This region of Kentucky is also well known for the many bourbon distilleries, with most being within a 30-40 minute drive. Several wineries are also scattered around Lexington, including: Talon, Chrisman Mill, and Jean Farris just to name a few. In addition, Lexington offers a wide variety of entertainment and cultural opportunities.
