McDougal Distinguished Alumni Award
Lecture Series
The McDougall Lecture, named after Richard McDougall, a pioneer in the field of PT, is an annual event conducted by the UK Physical Therapy Department. It is an award presented in recognition of excellence in service to the physical therapy profession through education, dedication, and practice. It features UK alumni of the Division of Physical Therapy.
The Lectures take place each year in the Fall at the University with a reception following. The time and place will be announced at a later date.
Each year the honoree receives an engraved plaque with his or her name on it and then gives a short lecture about inspirational points in the field of Physical Therapy.
