Center for Biobehavioral Research in Self-Management awards grant to Jenna Hatcher

It is our pleasure to announce that Jennifer Hatcher’s grant titled “Sisters P.R.A.I.S.E. (Promoting Responsible Attitudes and Ideas about Self-Empowerment): A Tailored Self-Service Breast Cancer Education Kiosk with a Personal Touch” was selected for funding by the Center for Biobehavioral Research on Self-Management.  Jenna will receive $10,000 to assist with her research study. The funds were provided by the Gill Endowment and College of Nursing.  Please join the Executive Committee of the Center for Biobehavioral Research on Self-Management in congratulating Jenna on her success.

Center Faculty and RICH Heart Program Promote Success
Each year the American Heart Association receives more than 13,000 abstract proposals for the annual Scientific Sessions meeting and their acceptance rate is about 30%. This year, the success rate for Center and RICH Heart investigators was 80%.  Congratulations to all.
