Living with Spinal Muscular Atrophy: Measuring Quality of Life

The three objectives for this cross-sectional study are to:

  1. Compare health-related quality of life among children and adolescents diagnosed with Spinal Muscular Atrophy previously published data from a population of healthy children.
  2. Evaluate congruency between the parent's perception and that of the child/adolescent.
  3. Establish the feasibility of using a self-report quality of life measure in a pediatric population diagnosed with Spinal Muscular Atrophy.
