The goals of this study are:

  1. To examine reliability and validity of the modified Caregiver Burden Scale in family caregivers of patients with heart failure;
  2. To explore differences between types of family caregiver and family caregiver burden and emotional distress;
  3. To explore the association between family caregiver burden and emotional distress with patients’ quality of life and functional status.
