interns present at state capitol Undergraduate research interns Jenny Baumgardner
and
Ashleigh Ohlmann recently presented at
Posters at the Capitol in Frankfort.
Baumgardner,
junior B.S.N. student, and Ohlmann, senior B.S.N. student,
presented their poster, "Factors Related to Asthma Quality of
Life for U.S. and Icelandic Adolescents."
Posters at the Capitol celebrates and
showcases the research, scholarly, and creative experiences
of undergraduate students at Kentucky's eight public
universities. Students present projects to state legislators and
show them the importance of faculty mentorship.
Patricia Burkhart, R.N.,
Ph.D., director of the undergraduate program and associate
professor, is mentor for Baumgardner and Ohlmann.
