Debra. Hampton has
taught at the College of Nursing since 1996; she currently
teaches research and leadership courses in the R.N.-B.S.N.
program, in addition to leadership & cultural diversity courses
in the master’s program. Hampton also holds a full-time
director of nursing position, covering two hospitals. She is
responsible for nine critical care and telemetry units, and has
led teams to achieve multiple positive financial and clinical
outcomes for patients in critical care settings. She serves as
chair of the MBO Evidence-Based Quality Action Council.
