Jennifer Cowley received her BSN at Eastern Kentucky University in
1981. She worked in a variety of acute care settings over the
next 5 years as a bedside staff nurse caring for a wide variety
of ill adults. This experience served her well – and after
obtaining her MSN from the University of Kentucky in 1987, she
began teaching in the undergraduate program at UK. She since has
over 20 years experience as a clinical instructor and lecturer.
She has taught pathopharmacology since its inception in the
undergraduate program. She is also coordinator, lecturer and
clinical instructor in the adult med-surg course. Jennifer
continues to declare that her favorite part of the professional
experience is the grit and grime of working a 12-hour clinical
day with her nursing students on the med-surg floor. |
