Students in the R.N.-M.S.N. program take 12 credit hours of graduate-level pharmacology, research, pathophysiology and leadership in lieu of similar undergraduate-level courses required for the R.N.-B.S.N. program. R.N.-M.S.N. students therefore save one semester of study over students who first finish their B.S.N. and then work toward a master’s degree.
