R.N.-B.S.N. Degree Requirements

• Minimum grade of "C" in every course with a NUR prefix
• Minimum cumulative nursing grade point average of 2.0
• Minimum undergraduate grade point average of 2.0
• Minimum of 120 credit hours*

Since the health care needs of the nation are constantly evolving, an effective curriculum requires continuous review and evaluation which may necessitate revision of courses and requirements.

Part-time students must plan courses of study with the appropriate College of Nursing personnel or committee, and may not alter the plan without prior approval from the College.

R.N.-B.S.N. students who do not complete all requirements within a five-year period will have their records
re-evaluated and may be required to repeat or take selected courses.

* According to University policy, 30 of the last 36 credit hours prior to graduation must be taken in residence at UK. Additional electives may be added if necessary to meet this requirement.
