M.S.N. Degree Requirements

Minimum of 40 credit hours of course work, depending on specialty track
21 credit hours in core courses
13-17 credit hours in specialty concentration courses
500 or more clinical clock hours, depending on specialty track
Successful completion of a comprehensive final exam (Graduate School Plan B option)
Students may not progress to another course, nor graduate with a grade of "C" or lower in a course with a clinical component
A minimum cumulative 3.0 GPA in all graduate nursing courses and over all graduate courses (effective for students admitted Spring 2004 and after)
