How to Apply

Step 1:  Contact the College of Nursing for an application packet.

Please specify if you are interested in the R.N.-M.S.N. Option (for diploma or associates degree nurses) or the traditional M.S.N. option (for bachelor’s degree nurses).

Step 2:  Complete the application packet.
Items you will complete in the application packet are:

• College of Nursing Application
• Written Goal Statement
• Photocopy of current R.N. license
• College of Nursing Financial Assistance Application
• Three references
• UK Graduate School Application for Admission
• Two official transcripts from each college/university attended
• Official GRE Scores (Verbal, Quantitative, and Analytical Writing)
• Official TOEFL Scores (international students ONLY)

Step 3:  Mail your completed application to the University of Kentucky
Please note that certain items are sent to the College of Nursing while other items are sent the UK Graduate School.  Please follow directions outlined in the application packet.
