Prerequisites for Second Degree B.S.N. Option
- Bachelor's degree
- Cumulative 2.50 GPA on a 4.0 scale for all college work
- 3-credit hour course in human anatomy; final grade of
"C" or higher
- 3-credit hour course in human physiology; final grade of
"C" or higher
- Two semesters of general chemistry; final grade of
"C" or higher
- One semester of general psychology; final grade of
"C" or higher
- Two personal references (using form
here)
- Written statement

- Written
exercise; criteria determined by the College of Nursing
- Satisfactory completion of a certified
nurse aide course
It is strongly recommended that the following two courses are
taken before beginning the Second Degree B.S.N. Option. They are
required for graduation.
- General microbiology; final grade of
"C" or higher
- General statistics; final grade of
"C" or higher
