Certificate Requirements for the Post-M.S.N. Option*
- Minimum of 16 graduate credit hours of course work; some
tracks require more
- Minimum of 500 clinical clock hours depending on specialty
track
- Students may not progress to another course, nor receive a
certificate of completion, with a grade of "C" or
lower in a course with a clinical component.
- Minimum cumulative 3.0 GPA in all graduate nursing courses,
and a cumulative 3.0 GPA over all graduate courses (effective
for students admitted Spring 2004 and after)
* The Post-master's certificate is awarded by the College of
Nursing.
