This is in room 309, beside the elevators on
the third floor of the College of Nursing Building. The staff
keeps all computer records for addresses, immunizations,
academic records, and scholarship information.
Your advisor
Meet with your advisor early and keep in
touch at least once each semester. He or she will help you
make connections within the College as well as University
resources to facilitate your progress through the College.
Your advisor will help you explore nursing career
opportunities and provide a link to the professional world,
advise you on classes, help you register for upcoming
semesters, and answer questions regarding drop/add and
financial aid.
Undergraduate student lounge
and lockers
The
lounge is in room 117. There are
some lockers in that area which you may share with another
nursing student. Your student ID badge will give you
access to the security lock on the lounge door. You will need to use
your own lock on your locker and remove it at end of the
academic year or it will be cut off during the summer.
Student mailboxes
These are located in room 117 (undergraduate
student lounge). You will be assigned a mailbox
number. A list of student box numbers is posted in the
lounge. Check your box regularly for information you
will need to keep up-to-date and receive news about College
events.
Bulletin boards
Check the bulletin board in the student
lounge for College policy information and student news.
Sophomore bulletin boards are also located on the fourth
floor next to the nursing skills lab.
ID badges (UK Chandler Medical Center)
These are laminated badges issued by UK
Chandler Medical Center Security. You will need this badge
to access many areas of the building. At orientation you
will receive another form to have this badge made.
