Description:
This two-day intensive course
will provide cutting-edge information to empower nursing
faculty who teach in all areas including associate degree and
baccalaureate nursing programs, staff educators, and
preceptors. Participants will examine designs for student success involving
intergenerational and internationally sensitive issues and
techniques. You will meet exciting and motivating faculty who
are experienced in
teaching and increase your confidence in providing quality nursing
education in a progressive field.
Topics include: Where is the Evidence for What We Do As
Teachers?; Quality Safety Education for Nursing; Current
Trends and Issues in Nursing Education; Education Across
Generations; Team Building and Managing Large Groups and
Part-time Faculty; New Initiatives in Nursing Education; Orientation for International Students; and
Accreditation.
