Combined Med-Peds Continuity Clinic
We established our first combined med-peds continuity clinic in July 2004 located on UK's main campus. In 2011, we added an additional continuity clinic location in downtown Lexington name Polk Dalton Clinic that cares for a more underserved patient base. Our clinics are focused on providing high quality, comprehensive, and cost conscious healthcare to all patients. All clinics are prepared by med-peds trained physicians who are board-certified in both Internal Medicine and Pediatrics. During the first two years of training, all residents have clinic one afternoon half-day per week. Thereafter, residents are scheduled two half-days in clinic each week (one morning and one afternoon). Residents have the same attending physician throughout their training, which enables our residents to establish a solid foundation of regular patients whom they will follow throughout their entire residency.
For patient appointments at our main campus site,
please contact our office at 859-323-0257.
