Dear colleagues,
Alice Thornton, MD, Program Director and I, as the Program Coordinator
for the Kentucky AIDS Education and Training Center (KY AETC), are
pleased to provide you with information about KY AETC and the services
we offer.
KY AETC’s purpose is to educate, train,
and provide information on HIV/AIDS to medical professionals
throughout Kentucky: physicians, physician assistants, nurse
practitioners, nurses, oral
health providers and pharmacists. As a member of a multi-state HIV/AIDS education and training
consortium, we have access to teleconferencing and telemedicine,
HIV/AIDS specialists, the most recent AIDS data and treatments,
and a warmline for providers to access with questions concerning
specific cases. All of the above services are
free to providers.
Our website describes all of the services that
we provide as well as valuable educational resources and links to
other HIV/AIDS websites.
There are
many opportunities to advance HIV/AIDS education. We are here to
serve you so please let us know how we can help you. Our warmline
is for direct needs and consultations- feel free to use it at anytime.
Thank you for your support.
Sincerely,
Jennifer D.
Edwards.
