Undergraduate Degree Programs
These programs are selective admissions programs. Students are formally accepted into these programs after completing respective pre-requisite requirements as well as an application process (information can be found at each program's webpage above).
Incoming first-year students may apply for UK admissions and be admitted as a "pre-major" (e.g. Pre-CSD, Pre-MLS, etc.). Current or transfer students with relatively low hours and certain GPA marks may be eligible to apply to become a pre-major on a case-by-case basis.
While advising appointments highlight each programs respective application process as well as advice on how to be a competitive candidate, it is the responsibility of the student to understand all application requirements as well as to navigate their program's process.
Persons not enrolled at the University of Kentucky must complete applications to both the University of Kentucky and the professional program. Please write or call for applications.
