Bam Sutardjo
Director of Technology Services
College of Health Sciences
Bam serves as the Director of Technology Services. He is responsible for
all aspects of College's network and computer administration and
support. He plans and oversees the implementation of various
technologies within the College. He provides consultation for academic
units and research support on implementation of technology. He also
prepares the technology budget and approves the purchase of all
technology-related products. Bam is also responsible for overseeing the
inventory of the college’s capital equipments.
Bam is a native of Indonesia and has been working with the University for

years with various positions as an IT professional. He started as an IS
Technology Support Specialist in the College of Allied Health in 1999, then
in 2000 he moved to Media Design and Production as part of the Distance
Learning Technology Center (DLTC). He had the privilege of becoming the
first system administrator of UK's Blackboard system. When the DLTC was
consolidated into the Teaching and Academic Support Center (TASC) in 2003,
he joined TASC as a Senior System Programmer. He has been in his current
position in the College of Health Sciences since June 2005.
He earned a master degree in Forestry (Hydrology) in 1989 and has
completed the class works in PhD Program in Water Resources at the UK
Department of Civil Engineering in 1992.
